De-freaking-licious. Great fries, plenty of sauce on their 10 wings combo, a drink, and a roll for $11? Now thats a deal. Small local restaurant but thats the way I like it. Friendly polite people to boot and I would definitely highly recommend. Looks like they have eliminated their outdoor seating for now, but with the summer heat as it is, cant say im surprised. Indoor seating looks like its open. Always a good sign when its packed with locals.

Hands down best fried Okra I have ever had!!! I’m from Texas and was down here working and before i could get back to my hotel i was tearing that okra up. That season is Amazing!!!!

I love this place man. Wings so fresh every time. Haven't failed me yet. But the times they be open..... 4 hours at a time, open then closed is hard to get food from em. Just inconvenient. Other than that. Good service. Never rude. They cook it just like you ask n none less or more. I hope my experience eating here remains the same every time. It's hard to find a good wing spot that's consistent.

Like a lot of the other reviews I had to wait a little bit for the food... However you cannot rush perfection. The wings were amazing!!! The staff was super friendly!!! Next time I'm in the Jackson area, I will be back!!!

1st & foremost let me just start with the customer service that I received, hands down I wish I could give 10 stars. Everyone was so welcoming, even the cooks in the back were speaking. I honestly felt like I was at home with my people the energy was so good. Everyone was smiling and enjoying their job. Now on to the Big Kuntry love a good chew stamp of approval. That FRIED BROCCOLI gave me life! When I say it was cooked perfectly with a seasoned golden brown crust. Man say, my stomach was happy. For a girl who loves her some fried okra I must admit whatever seasoning they put on theirs definitely won me over. Now my wings I was a little nervous ordering the honey gold because everybody can't do it like Memphis but man oh man, THEY DID! I was impressed. And then there was the Flip sauce flavored wings that I let Flip talk me into trying and he didn't steer me wrong. I highly recommend them! I ordered a 10 piece but by time I returned to my hotel and got comfortable I wish I had ordered more. I will definitely be visiting again next time I am in Jackson.

Whoever is in the kitchen, please pay them their worth and never let them out of your sight—seriously, chain them to the stove if you have to. The wings? Life-changing. The fries? Offensively perfect. I’ve eaten here three times in the last two weeks, so believe me when I say run, don’t walk. Oh, and yes—everything is always fresh, thank ya!

I cannot say enough great things about The Village Kitchen! We recently had a mix-up with a large work order when a third-party service wasn’t able to deliver our food. What could have been a frustrating experience turned into something truly exceptional thanks to the owner and Ms. Aleshia. They were incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely committed to making things right. Their level of care and customer service went above and beyond anything we expected. Not only did they resolve the issue, but they also made sure our corrected order was personally delivered the following week. And let me just say—the food was absolutely AMAZING. Everything was hot, fresh, and a solid 10/10. You can truly taste the quality and love put into every dish. We are so grateful for how everything was handled, and we will most definitely be ordering from them again soon. Highly recommend!

I received top class service. This is a family owned business and they made me feel as if I was part of the family. Everyone was very friendly. This was my first time visiting here. The food was great!!! I will be back, I promise that. I love this place. I'm waiting for the hamburgers to get on the menu. The chicken strips and onion rings, along with the special sauce are all FANTASTIC!!! See you soon 😊

Wing stop has been dethroned! This was my first trip to The Village Kitchen and the food did not miss! We had the fried broccoli as an appetizer and it immediately set the mood. The broccoli was seasoned and fried to perfection! The outside was crisp and firm and the broccoli inside was tender and delicious. We also had 3 orders of the 10 piece wing combo. One order had lemon pepper dry rub and wop wop dry rub which did not disappoint. Both dry rubs were busting with flavor! The second order was half hot honey, half sweet chilli, both flavors were delicious. The third order was all hot honey with sauce on the fries! The hot honey was definitely the overall winner! Next trip we will definitely try the fried okra which we heard is a fan favorite! Kam was also great working out front taking orders and taking care of the customers! We were all pleasantly surprised with the food and will definitely be returning to indulge in more menu options!
